RADAR TANGSEL RATAS – Baru-baru ini Pemprov DKI Jakarta turun tangan melakukan pengecekan perihal viral sekolah internasional yang menyediakan toilet untuk kaum gender netral. Kabar mengenai toilet gender netral itu viral di media sosial, meski tak jelas lokasi sekolah yang dimaksud.
Tapi, berdasarkan pengecekan sementara, Plt Kepala Dinas Pendidikan (Kadisdik) DKI Jakarta memastikan tak ada sekolah di bawah instansinya yang memiliki toilet gender netral. Sejauh ini, yang tersedia di setiap sekolah hanyalah toilet untuk perempuan dan laki-laki.
“Berangkat dari TikTok serta video viral, kami sudah lakukan pengecekan di seluruh satuan pendidikan di DKI Jakarta bahwa tidak ditemukan toilet gender netral. Yang ada adalah toilet yang jelas, laki-laki dan perempuan,” ungkap Purwosusilo kepada wartawan, Selasa (8/8/2023).
Di tempat lain, pengecekan fasilitas di sekolah internasional yang berlokasi di DKI Jakarta masih berlangsung. Pengecekan dilakukan di sekolah tingkat TK, SD, SMP, hingga SMA. Sejauh ini, kata Purwosusilo, pihaknya tak mendapati keberadaan toilet gender netral di sekolah Jakarta.
“Terkait yang di sekolah kerjasama Internasional kami pengecekan sedang berlangsung saat ini kami utamakan sekolah-sekolah di satuan pendidikan yang ada di DKI Jakarta mulai TK, SD, SMP, SMA kami tidak temukan seperti itu. Artinya clear bahwa di semua satuan pendidikan di DKI Jakarta hasil penelusuran kami toilet itu hanya ada dua, untuk laki-laki dan untuk perempuan,” katanya dengan tegas.
Menurut Purwosusilo, ketentuan soal toilet di sekolah tercantum dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional Nomor 24 Tahun 2007 tentang Standar Sarana dan Prasarana untuk Sekolah Dasar/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (SD/MI), Sekolah Menengah Pertama/Madrasah Tsanawiyah (SMP/Mts) dan Sekolah Menengah Atas/Madrasah Aliyah (SMA/MA).
Kata Purwosusilo, di dalam Permendiknud itu tidak ada kata ‘toilet’, melainkan jamban. Berbeda beda setiap jenjang pendidikan, perbedaannya ada di jumlah jamban. Di sana jelas bunyinya, untuk (tingkat SMP) siswa pria misalnya 1:40, untuk wanita 1:30. Artinya apa? Semua sekolah harus taat pada standar sarpras, yaitu jamban untuk pria dan untuk wanita,” tuturnya. (ARH)
