Dailami mengatakan, adanya kejadian peserta didik di SMPN 73 Tebet, Jakarta Selatan yang lompat dari lantai tiga gedung sekolah harus segera menjadi momentum untuk melakukan upaya preventif. “Ini bukan kali pertama. Sebelumnya, juga ada murid di SDN Petukangan Utara 06 yang meninggal setelah jatuh dari lantai 4 sekolah,” ujar Bang Dailami, sapaan akrab Dailami Firdaus, dalam keterangan tertulisnya yang dikirim kepada redaksi Kantor Berita ratas.id RADAR TANGSEL, Rabu sore, 22 Mei 2024.
Pasang Teralis di Gedung Sekolah
Menurut Bang Dailami, sebagai salah satu upaya yang perlu segera dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi kejadian serupa adalah memasang teralis di lantai dua gedung sekolah dan seterusnya. “Adanya teralis ini tentu diharapkan dapat mencegah adanya peserta didik atau pelajar yang lompat atau jatuh,” terangnya.
Operasionalkan CCTV
Upaya pencegahan lain, kata Bang Dailami adalah, sekolah perlu memasang atau mengoperasionalkan closed circuit television (CCTV) yang dipantau secara baik dan benar dari control room. “Kalau ada pergerakan murid yang mencurigakan bisa cepat diantisipasi. Upaya untuk membuat kawasan sekolah lebih aman dan nyaman sangat penting,” ungkapnya.
Kerja Sama dengan Puskesmas dan RSUD
Tidak kalah penting, lanjut Dailami, pihak sekolah harus meningkatkan kerja sama dengan puskesmas atau rumah sakit umum daerah (RSUD) setempat untuk mengadakan kegiatan konseling secara rutin dan berkala di sekolah-sekolah. “Melalui konseling ini dapat dimonitor kondisi kesehatan jiwa atau mental para murid,” ucapnya.
Ia menambahkan, tidak semua anak di Jakarta mempunyai keluarga atau lingkungan yang ideal untuk bertumbuh kembang dengan baik. “Jangan sampai ada permasalahan yang disimpan sendiri dan tidak ada tempat bercerita. Tidak sedikit anak broken home di Jakarta dan mungkin juga ada masalah dari sisi ekonomi keluarga dan lainnya yang bisa menganggu psikis mereka. Tentu, secara psikologis mereka juga perlu pendampingan yang baik,” pungkas sang senator yang sangat peduli dengan isu-isu penting yang menyangkut dengan kepentingan masyarakat Jakarta itu. (AGS)
