RADAR TANGSEL RATAS – David Chandrawan, S. T., M. M. terpilih sebagai ketua umum Ikatan Alumni PPM School of Management (IKA PPM) untuk periode 2024-2027. Sedangkan Menteri Perdagangan RI, Dr. (H. C.) H. Zulkifli Hasan, S. E., M. M. menjadi ketua dewan pembina IKA PPM.
David yang merupakan alumni Magister Manajemen Eksekutif (MME) PPM tahun 2019 itu meraih suara terbanyak dibanding tiga kandidat lainnya. Dalam pemilihan yang dilakukan secara daring (online) melalui situs electionrunner.com, Sabtu lalu, 01 Juni 2024, David sukses mengungguli tiga kandidat lainnya.
Ia meraih 54% suara dan berada di posisi nomor wahid. David pun dinyatakan menang satu putaran karena perolehan suaranya 50 persen plus satu.
Dan, itu menandakan, mayoritas alumni PPM yang memiliki hak pilih, lebih dari setengahnya menyetujui David sebagai ketua umum. David pun resmi menjadi ketua umum IKA PPM periode 2024-2027.
Sertijab Digelar
Serah terima jabatan (sertijab) ketua umum IKA PPM School of Management terpilih periode 2024-2027 pun dilakukan pada hari Jumat, 05 Juli 2024. Di Kampus PPM, Jakarta, sertijab digelar dan dihadiri oleh puluhan insan alumni, pengelola dan pengurus Yayasan PPM serta ketua umum perguruan tinggi lainnya seperti Ketua Umum IKAPRAMA (Prasetiya Mulya) Maspiyono, Ketua Umum IKA Trisakti Silmy Karim, dll.
Realisasikan Program-progam Terbaik
David memastikan, dirinya akan melanjutkan program kerja yang baik dari kepengurusan sebelumnya yang dipimpin Ir. Prabowo Budhy Santoso, M. M. Ia berjanji akan semakin memperbanyak kegiatan yang melibatkan insan alumni PPM.
Selain itu, David mengatakan, ia akan merealisasikan program-program yang telah disampaikannya selama masa kampanye. Program-program terbaiknya yang akan dilaksanakan seperti berikut ini.
1. Reformasi Sistem Manajemen Informasi IKA PPM yang terintegrasi,
2. Blue Fest (Iconic PPM Alumni Entertainment Event),
3. Alumni to Alumni, dan
4. Social Action From PPM Alumni For Indonesia.
“Menjadi komitmen saya untuk merealisasikan semua yang sudah saya sampaikan di masa kampanye,” katanya seraya menyebut, program ini pun kelak akan menjadi warisan untuk kepengurusan selanjutnya.
Ajak Alumni Bangun IKA PPM Jadi Lebih Baik
Kepada awak media, di sela-sela, sertijab, David juga mengajak seluruh alumni khususnya yang masih berusia muda untuk senantiasa kreatif dan inovatif dalam menjaga nama baik almamater melalui prestasi. “Di masa kampanye, saya membuka selebar-lebarnya pintu partisipasi, dan manfaat,” katanya.
Oleh karena itu, menurutnya, kolaborasi di antara sesama alumni sangat diperlukan. Mengingat, dirinya tidak mungkin menjalankan roda organisasi ini sendirian.
“Saya tahu. Saya tidak mampu melakukan ini sendirian. Untuk itu, saya mengajak semua insan PPM School of Management untuk berpartisipasi di kegiatan yang akan diadakan atau pun di kepengurusan. Mari kita bersama membangun Ikatan Alumni PPM School of Management yang melayani, merangkul, mengayomi,” ujar David.
Ucapkan Terima Kasih
Tidak lupa, David Chandrawan mengapresiasi kerja keras pengurus sebelumnya yang telah berdedikasi tinggi tanpa lelah memberikan yang terbaik untuk IKA PPM serta menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas kepercayaan dari insan alumni PPM School of Management yang telah mempercayakan dirinya memimpin IKA PPM dalam 3 (tiga) tahun ke depan. “Terima kasih atas amanah dan kepercayaan yang diberikan ke saya,” kata David usai Acara Serah Terima Jabatan (Sertijab) Ketua Umum IKA PPM School of Management Terpilih Periode 2024-2027 pada hari Jumat, 05 Juli 2024, di Jakarta.
Janji Rangkul dan Akomodasi Aspirasi
Dalam pidatonya, David berjanji akan merangkul dan mengakomodasi aspirasi dari seluruh anggota IKA PPM, termasuk siapa saja yang layak menjadi pengurus. “Yang penting siap memberikan waktunya, pikiran dan tenaganya sebagai keikhlasan,” tegasnya.

Ketua IKA PPM Periode 2006-2008/Ketua Dewan Penasihat IKA PPM Periode 2024-2027, Dr. (H. C.) H. Zulkifli Hasan, S. E., M. M. atau yang akrab disapa Bang Zul menyampaikan apresiasinya. Ia memberi apresiasi atas terpilihnya David Chandrawan, S. T., M. M. sebagai ketua umum IKA PPM.
Mantan ketua MPR RI itu berharap, David dapat melaksanakan tugasnya dengan baik. “Setahu saya, para alumni PPM adalah adalah orang yang taat asas dan istiqomah dengan apa yang diucapkan, taat konstitusi dan taat hukum,” ujar Bang Zul yang kini merupakan menteri perdagangan Republik Indonesia itu.
Ia menilai bahwa David merupakan sosok anak muda yang berhasil menjadi pemimpin di banyak hal, mulai dari Komunitas Jalan Nordik Indonesia (KJNI), Sahabat UMKM, Gerakan Amal Orang Tua Asuh (GAOTA), Sahabat Sampah, bahkan di Alumni Resimen Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia, dll. “Beliau ini salah satu tokoh muda yang luar biasa inovatif, kolaboratif dan aktif.
