RATAS – Profesi Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) Pemerintah maupun korporasi bukanlah sekadar juru bicara ataupun ‘Pemadam kebakaran’ pada saat terjadinya krisis komunikasi pada institusi ataupun lembaga tersebut.
Humas profesional mengakomodir seluruh aspek komunikasi internal dan eksternal, menganalisis, mengatur strategi komunikasi, dan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan bagi publik.
Demikian disampaikan CEO PR Indonesia Group, Asmono Wikan, dalam Webinar Series-44 ‘Siap Berprestasi Anugerah Humas Indonesia 2024’ yang diselenggarakan Magnitude Indonesia dan Magnitude Institute of Transparency, Kamis (8/11).
Dalam membangun ekosistem Humas Pemerintah yang profesional, kemudian PR Indonesia menyelenggarakan kompetisi Anugerah Humas Indonesia (AHI) 2024. “PR atau Hubungan Masyarakat itu profesi yang tidak akan tergantikan oleh zaman.
Hal itu dikarenakan akan banyak turbulensi di dalam korporasi dalam mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan berkomunikasi kepada publiknya,” kata Asmono menambahkan.
Selain sedang berlangsung tahapan AHI, saat ini Humas Pemerintah juga akan menghadapi monitoring dan evaluasi (monev) Komisi Informasi Pusat untuk mengukur sejauhmana Humas Pemerintah, baik Kementerian, Lembaga, Lembaga Pemerintah Non Kementerian (LPNK), maupun Korporasi Negara dalam mengimplementasikan keterbukaan Informasi Publik berdasarkan Undang-undang Nomor 14 tahun 2008 tentang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik (UU KIP).
CEO Magnitude Indonesia, Abdul Rahman Ma’mun menilai bahwa masyarakat sangat diuntungkan dengan adanya kompetisi seperti AHI 2024 dan Monev karena dapat mengakses informasi Badan Publik lebih efisisien dan terstruktur.
“Kalau kita lihat kompetisi tersebut (AHI dan Monev) adalah menjadi capaian bagi Badan Publik ataupun Pemerintah dapat berkomunikasi dengan baik. Artinya, pelayanan juga semakin baik dan itu sangat menguntungkan masyarakat,” ujar Aman.
Bagi Badan Publik, lanjut Aman yang juga Ketua Komisi Informasi Pusat Periode 2011-2013 dua ajang kompetisi tersebut dapat menjadi “general check up” sejauh mana Humas sebagai Pejabat Pengelola Informasi dan Dokumentasi (PPID) di Pemerintahan maupun Korporasi Negara mengimplementasikan UU KIP.
Terlebih bagi Humas Pemerintah Daerah, prestasi Humas dalam ajang AHI dan Monev dapat dipergunakan sebagai konsep maupun content dalam City Branding di masing-masing daerah.
Content Director Magnitude Indonesia, Triana Nurchayati menambahkan, sisi positif dari dua kompetisi Humas Pemerintah dan Korporasi Negara tersebut adalah bahwa penerapan keterbukaan informasi publik didorong dari sisi yang positif.
“Biasanya yang mendorong penerapan keterbukaan informasi adalah adanya sengketa informasi, atau adanya penghargaan. Kedua ajang kompetisi ini mendorong dari sisi yang positif,” ujar Tria.
Webinar tersebut dihadiri Humas dan Tim Komunikasi dari Pusat maupun Daerah (Provinsi/Kabupaten/Kota) dari seluruh Indonesia. Beberapa diantaranya, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) yang juga sharing kepada peserta sebagai BUMN yang memenangkan kompetisi diajang AHI tahun 2023.
Selain KAI, juga hadir dari Bank Indonesia, Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP), anak-anak Perusahaan BUMN dan BUMD, Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN), Pemerintah Daerah (Provinsi Kab/Kota), dan sebagainya. (hds)
